Temp Save for Elektron Analog Rytm
FUNC + YES overwrites the pattern's and kit's saved copies, the ones stock's reloads go back to; FUNC + NO brings both back.
Module version 0.1.0-experimental. Base firmware: 1.74.
About this module
Try something on the Rytm and get back to where you were. FUNC + YES saves the active pattern and its kit, performance and scene locks included, over their saved copies, with stock's own save. FUNC + NO reloads both. A save belongs to its pattern and kit: change either or load a project and FUNC + NO shows NO TEMP SAVE.
- One gesture for the pattern and its kit
- Performance and scene locks come back with the kit
- Screens that use YES or NO keep them
How to use it
- On the main screen, hold FUNC and press YES: TEMP SAVED. The pattern and its kit are saved.
- Change the pattern's trigs, or turn a sound knob. Play the pattern if you like.
- Hold FUNC and press NO: RELOADED. Trigs, kit and performance and scene locks are back as they were at the save.
- FUNC + NO shows NO TEMP SAVE once you change pattern or kit, or load a project: save again with FUNC + YES.
Compatibility notes
- FUNC + YES overwrites the pattern's and the kit's saved copies, the ones stock's reloads return to. A project save keeps both, apart from the edits; a power cycle keeps the kit's only.
- A save lasts until the pattern or kit changes, a project loads or the power goes off.
- With a trig held, both keys stay stock's. In running LIVE RECORDING, FUNC + NO erases locks as in stock.
